Description: King Solomon’s reign was Israel’s greatest period of prosperity. Gold was so abundant that silver lost its value. Solomon was living the high life! Somewhere along the way, however, Solomon lost his spiritual compass. God was no longer first chair in his life. Solomon mistakenly thought that pleasure and possessions could satisfy his heart’s emptiness. He was wrong. Without Jesus, life lacks meaning. Life, “under the sun”, without a God focus, can become meaningless if not depressing. Jesus has come that we might experience LIFE in its fullness!

It means to live with intention; to have an aim, objective, goal or target in view. When we live with purpose, problems seem smaller and suddenly we have greater determination and satisfaction. Our lives are fruitful and supernatural forces sustain us. During March, we’ll focus on living with purpose so that we might “… number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12
